Dr Wayne Grudem at Brighton!

Just a brief update, was very VERY excited when I got my latest copy of the Newfrontiers magazine through - Dr Wayne Grudem is going to be one of the keynote speakers at the Brighton Leaders Conference! He is well worth hearing in the flesh because he brings an amazing combination of the most outstanding scholarship coupled with a real openness to the Holy Spirit. The last time he spoke at Brighton on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood in 2003, there was an absolute sense of holy awe when he finished and the worship after that was just outstanding. Could this conference get any more exciting!? Roll on July!

Thats fab news!! I wonder ... couldn't Terry invite John Piper one year? He would be an awesome addition to the conference.

John Piper was invited to a Newfrontiers conference at CCK in 1999 I think - it was for elders only, but the tapes were well worth getting. He spoke on "Future Grace".

Great! I hope that Dr Grudem speaks on something other than Biblical Manhood and Womanhood. While I appreciate it's his specialist subject I bet there is a whole host of topics he could expound that we should and could benefit from.

I wonder if that's the most excitement a scholar has generated in his life?! Nice to see someone getting so passionate about something, LLN!

Yes Scott ... we are going to want a full review of Wayne Grudem's seminars on Bible Translation when you get back from Brighton - and we expect you to be JUST as passionate then as to why the TNIV is a bad bad book and the ESV is good! ;)
