New Wine Magazine Forum on Guidance - November 1973!

I have spent many happy hours today working through the archives of the New Wine Magazine that Charles Simpson Ministries have made available free to us. There are a vast amount of treasures there! This edition of the New Wine Magazine is particularly interesting. They invited Ern Baxter onto the Forum (a regular feature in the magazine) to discuss the vital issue of "Guidance".

I particularly liked this quote which I posted;

"The Spirit's first work of guidance is to quicken the Word and its principles to our redeemed and renewed understanding, and then empower and enable us to behave in terms of the Spirit-inspired revelation ... It is my persuasion that in the main our daily lives are to be directed by the principles of the Word of God, while being healthily sensative and open to any specific direction that the Holy Spirit may give".
